BENTLEY CONTINENTAL FLYING SPUR
6.0 W12 AUTO
REGISTERED 01/01/2006
The Bentley Continental Flying Spur is a luxury saloon produced by Bentley Motors Limited since 2005, and was released since 2006. It is the four-door variant of the Bentley Continental GT coupé. Drivers in the Spur enjoy the same upright driving position as in other Continental derivatives and face the same dashboard, a beautifully sculpted leather and wood covered affair. The two materials are everywhere, from the seats to the centre console to the door trims, and carried off so effortlessly, creating a feeling of luxury simply not present in a similarly-priced Mercedes whose mass market roots are too readily visible.
In the Bentley you’re constantly reminded that you’re piloting a very special car. Life in the front of the Flying Spur is just as charming as it is in the two-door GT with ample space and every possible convenience on offer, plus there’s even more headroom because of the taller roof. It’s even more comfortable if you’re sitting in the back and the Spur’s long wheelbase means there’s masses of legroom. Buyers have the option of choosing a traditional bench rear seat or two individual buckets, each with their own electric adjustment.
The Bentley Continental Flying Spur has a 5,998 cubic centimetres (366.0 cu in) (6.0 litre) twin turbocharged W12 engine, tuned to produce 560 PS (412 kW; 552 bhp) and torque of 650 Nm (479 lb ft) at 1,600–6,100 rpm. It can go 0–100 km/h (0.0–62.1 mph) in 5.2 seconds, and can reach a top speed of 312 km/h (194 mph). It also has Adaptive Air Suspension and Continuous Damping Control.

1954 Rolls Royce Silver Dawn.
66,500 miles. Late series, Silver Dawn in superb condition, only 761 were produced and its rarity will only ensure an increasing value. Excellent documentation with the car that shows it being supplied from new by H.R Owen Ltd, London, in 1954. In 1976 the car was exported to Colts Neck, New Jersey, by the third owner, a collector of early Bentley’s and remained there until May 2015 before returning to the UK.
I purchased the vehicle at this point and a full professional respray in Shell Grey over Masons Black was completed in December 2015 by an approved Roll Royce Body shop. The interior is in lovely condition finished in Grey hide piped in Black. The underside of the car is in untouched original condition and is a joy to behold. The walnut is all French polished and is in superb condition. On the road, the car drives perfectly and in complete silence with no wallowing which can be experienced in high mileage examples. The original tools and copy of the original build sheet, are all present.

1955 Willys Jeep M38A 1.
Readily identifiable thanks to its `round fender’ design, the M38A1 was only made from 1975-1957 but remained in military service until the 1970’s. We purchased the Willys in 2013 for a showroom display, with the intention of fully restoring her, however we decided to leave it, as cosmetically she had a more original look, but now sadly it is time to sell, to make way for new stock.
The previous keeper had the Jeep for 14 years and before that it shows two former keepers on its UK V5C registration document. ‘XVS 627’ has had the benefit of new springs all round and a thorough powerplant overhaul by Engine Services of Sheffield prior to our ownership (which reputedly cost some £1100) the engine runs great and in June this year all brakes were overhauled, fitting new brake cylinders and front shoes. Comes with full canvas top and side curtains. Excellent restoration project. I would describe her as in fair condition for being 64 years old and will only be going up in value, own a part of America History.
